2017 Pinot Noir
The flavor profile of this wine is full of cranberries, red currant and rhubarb with hints of cedar and earth. Aged for 11 months in older French and Hungarian oak barrels. Light bodied and soft tannins.
100% Estate grown fruit.
Winemakers Notes: The Pinot Noir vines were one of the first varietals planted in Treleaven Vineyards. Fermented in one-ton fermenters punched down daily for optimal extraction. The two clones that make up the Pinot Noir in the vineyard are Champagne and Maria-feld.
Food Pairing: Bacon stuffed mushrooms. Roasted pork loin with potatoes and herbs or plank grilled salmon steaks. Baked brie with fresh blackberries. Camembert, Gruyere and goat cheese.
