The 2021 Reserve Chardonnay seems demure and quiet on the nose, apples, florals, some oak notes come out, but on the palate a tropical side explodes out of nowhere apricots, and mangos merge with the weight and body from time on the lees to create a delicious lasting finish.

Winemaker's Notes: The Reserve Chardonnay is slightly heavier on the oak than the Tacie’s Chardonnay and has more of a buttery, creamy texture. Selected from a particular block in our vineyard that routinely produces our finest chardonnay fruit. Paying homage to the great white wines of Burgundy this wine goes through full malolactic fermentation. Spending an extended aging process over 15 months in barrels and on lees to allow the wine to develop superior mouth feel and flavor. A mixture of 58% French, 34% American and 8% Hungarian oak barrels are used, leading to the “Reserve” title.
