2018 Pinot Noir
The 2018 Pinot Noir has a nose of lifted fruits, red currants, cranberries, and a dash of oregano. Medium-bodied, with the summery tang of fresh strawberries before an easy going finish. Lower alcohol and more quaffable than some of the burly west coast Pinots.
100% Estate grown fruit.
Winemakers Notes: The Pinot Noir vines were one of the first varietals planted in Treleaven Vineyards. Fermented in one-ton fermenters punched down daily for optimal extraction. The two clones that make up the Pinot Noir in the vineyard are Champagne and Maria-feld.
Food Pairing: Great pairing with mushroom risotto, duck, and any barbeque .Camembert, Gruyere and goat cheese.
