2020 Tacie's Chardonnay
The 2020 Tacie’s Chardonnay has the full body, and richness that comes with a hot vintage, paired with the lighter oak and fresher style that is the signature of this wine. The nose has a floral, almost truffle-y nose that leads into a classic oak and apples palate. The finish has a pleasant succulence and signs off with a light and easy finale. Named after our owner, Tacie Saltonstall, each vintage of Tacie's Chardonnay has to receive her seal of approval.
Winemaker's Notes: The Tacie’s Chardonnay is estate grown and produced Chardonnay. These vines were one of the first varietals planted in Treleaven Vineyards in 1984 and the age of the vines lend the resulting vintage depth and structure. Fermented and aged for 8 months in blend of older French, Hungarian and American oak barrels
Food Pairings: Bay scallop chowder. Creamy mustard and tarragon chicken. Avocado and tuna tapas. Crab cakes
