The 2021 Treleaven Merlot brings together a savory herbal side with unexpected freshness, it is akin to biting into a plum just before it was ripe, the skin crunches and snaps, the flesh still sings of the tree, the earth and the sky, still part of the plant while also on the verge of becoming something more.

Composition:  75% Merlot, 20% Petite Sirah 5% Cabernet Franc

Winemakers Notes: This Merlot is from Serenity Vineyards grown by Hermann-Weimar, with the other components coming from the Nutt Road Vineyard, and our estate vineyard. Aged for 10 months in barrels to allow the wine to knit its self together.

 Food Pairing Notes: Spaghetti and meatballs. Bean dishes with smoked ham or chorizo. Jambalaya. Cheeseburgers.
