Our 2021 ML+ Riesling has a savory and almost smoky nose, which gives way to a compelling reductive component with hints of golden fruits. The palate has a roundness unlike many traditional Rieslings.

Winemaker Notes: Harvest from a single vineyard from the “GC” block of Lahoma Vineyards on the west side of Seneca Lake. Cold-soaked on the skins for two days before being pressed to extract additional flavor and weight from the skins before being co-inoculated with malolactic bacteria, and having the lees stirred to enhance body and mouthfeel. A nod to the powerful Smaragd wines from Austria, and the many-layered Rieslings of Red Newt Wine Cellars in the Finger Lakes.
