The 2022 Dry Riesling has a nose of limes, orange peel, and not-quite-ripe peach that gives way to a surprising palate that is textural and full bodied, it almost envelopes your mouth, before returning to a key lime pie finish that sits with you as you finish the glass.

Winemaking Notes: A portion of this vintage was cold-soaked on the skins for two days before being pressed which adds body, texture, and character to the finished. wine. Riesling is the grape of possibility. Unlike most of its fellow winemaking grapes, Riesling can be balanced and remarkable at any number of sugar and alcohol levels, and styles as diverse as ice wine and sparkling. Through it all though there is a certain fruit character and acid line that defines the grape in any conditions. Our Riesling vines were one of the first varietals planted in Treleaven Vineyards in 1984 and the age of the vines lend the resulting vintage depth and structure. 

Food Pairing Notes: The higher acidity allows it to handle hearty sauces, high-end meats and light appetizers while simultaneously off-setting the tangy flavors of ginger and lime in Asian fare. I would also pair this wine with chicken, fish, salads, and spicy ethnic foods such as Cajun or Mexican.
