This Meritage made in a classic right bank Bordeaux Blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  Estate grown on our Cayuga Lake vineyard the Cabernet Franc was selectively picked to pull only the ripest fruit from specfic blocks of the vineyard.   From the Vineyard team at Weimer the Merlot was hand picked from their Serenity Vineyard block directly accross from some of their most prized vineyards on Seneca Lake.

Winemakers Notes: 

This wine went into the bottle without sterile filtration, to better express the fruit and the terrior. Deep purple in color with dark cherry and robust red fruits on the palate. The winemaking team as added some new oak to pollish and support the body and stucture of the wine.  Aged for 10 months in barrel for help smooth out the tannins. 

50% Cabernet Franc  50% Merlot
