Winemaker's Notes: ­­Extended aging for 15 months in barrels with about 20% in new French oak and on lees to allow the wine to develop superior mouth feel and flavor. 

A bitter cold stretch in the winter created expectations of a small crop, but once picking began it turned out there was hardly any fruit at all, yields were down 50% in many cases. Rains in late September scared many growers wary to lose what fruit they had with thoughts of 2021’s wet season in the back of their minds. Those who were able to ride out the rain got lovely weather on the other side to pick through an extended harvest season with both reds and whites looking very strong.
