A refreshing and elegant oaked Chardonnay. The 2022 Tacie's Chardonnay is golden in color, with a complex bouquet of lemon curd, granny smith apple, melon, hazelnut and subtle oak. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, dry and balanced, with a long and refreshing finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, chicken, salads or cheese.

Winemaker's Notes:

-Malolactic was co-inoculated with the yeast in order to preserve the freshness of the wine and prevent the formation of buttery notes while still rounding out the wine.

-A bitter cold stretch in the winter created expectations of a small crop, but once picking began it turned out there was hardly any fruit at all, yields were down 50% in many cases. Rains in late September scared many growers wary to lose what fruit they had with thoughts of 2021’s wet season in the back of their minds. Those who were able to ride out the rain got lovely weather on the other side to pick through an extended harvest season with both reds and whites looking very strong.
