2024 Dry Vidal Blanc
New Release!
In Stock
2024 Dry Vidal has a nutty, oily nose and a palate to match. Powerful and full of flavor,
apricots and peaches lurk in the background, but the weight and texture in the mouth take center stage,
reminiscent of Rhone Valley whites. A complete re-appraisal of what Vidal is.
Winemaking Notes:
- Made entirely from our estate grown Vidal that is hung late into the season to develop as much flavor and ripeness as possible.
- Stainless Steel fermentation helps preserve as many aromatics as possible for this wine, and an overnight cold soak helps extracts as much flavor and body as possible.
- Only about three dry styles of Vidal produced in the Finger Lakes, very uncommon and unusual take on the variety.
Food Pairing Notes:
Dry Vidal Blanc pairs well with pork and roasted vegetables, grilled seafood like scallops or shrimp, or light pasta dishes with lemon and garlic. where the acidity can cut through some rich, savory flavors.
