The Quarry Ridge Pinot Noir is a richer, dark fruited pinot despite its somewhat pale appearance, it has a savory edge on the nose with spices from oak mingling with dried herbs, and a round richer palate that produces a satisfying finish.

Winemakers Notes: Quarry Ridge, located about 20 minutes north of us on Cayuga Lake is one of only a handful of vineyards in the Finger Lakes sitting on limestone soils. This particular terroir is supposed to be the best site suited to Pinot Noir. Handpicked to help select the best and cleanest fruit for this wine and fermented with native yeast. Punched down daily to maximize flavor extraction, tannin and color.
