2010 Reserve Cabernet Franc
In Stock
This hardy Cabernet Franc after a decade in the bottle has grown into a sophisticated and elegant red swirling with brambly raspberries and spice notes.
Winemaker Notes: Aged for 14 months in barrels, and additional 9 years stored in Treleaven's Library. 2010 vintage was a heralded year for the Finger Lakes, thanks to a warm dry summer a long growing season and the lack of diseases. This growing season produced such good fruit that we introduced our first Reserve Cabernet Franc. Now after a decade this wine as a new side to show off.
Pairing Notes: This wine can be enjoyed by itself or with a meal. Mushroom ragu, beef bourguignon, and lamb chops are some options.
