• 90 Rating & Best Buy: Wine & Spirits Magazine, "This riesling is drier than you might expect from the designation: It leads with a sweet brown sugar scent but the flavors are more driven by lime and passion fruit, as clean as a knife's edge, with the freshness and lift for Massaman shrimp curry." • 90 Rating & Best Buy: World Value Wine Challenge, BTI "Clear light straw green color. Bright, fruity, minerally earthy aromas of peach skin, loest, green apples, and turned earth with an crisp, dryish medium-to-full body and a warming, delightful, brisk finish with fruit tannins and no oak." [tasted on 8/20/15] • 87 Rating: Robert Parker "The 2013 Semi-Dry Riesling "Treleaven" comes in with 30 grams per liter of residual sugar and 11% alcohol. Despite the rather high sugar level there, this is in fact just off-dry in perception. The balancing acidity matches the sugar and makes it perceptibly drier than one might think. Showing some focus and good balance in all respects, it finishes with nice fruit that lingers respectably and some minerality. It is not overly concentrated, but it is well done and a nice bargain. It will be interesting to see if it will hold well--let's be conservative there--but at least while it is young it should exceed expectations. There were 2,529 cases produced." [tasted on 3/2016]

Vineyard Notes
The fruit was sourced from four different vineyards. King Ferry Vineyards provided 20 tons of fruit. Martini Vineyards of Anthony Road Winery grew for us 19 tons of Riesling in their Nutt Road site on Seneca Lake. Wine grower Alex Jackman of Jackman Vineyard, former winemaker here at King Ferry Winery, provided 3.5 tons of Riesling from his Cayuga Lake vineyard. Cornell Orchards in Lansing provided 4.2 tons of Riesling for our Semi Dry Riesling blend.
