The 2019 Merlot is rich and dark in a surprisingly light package. Plums, cocoa and tobacco come out of the glass at first, followed by a strong structure to help define this generous wine.
The nose speaks of ripe succulent cherries and has a floral touch. The body is full and rounded than you would believe from other taut 20219 vintages. Less of a powerhouse than past incarnations, but more focuses and elegant.
The 2019 Meritage is a beautiful vintage overall. Notable for its late start to harvest, sunny fall that helped push the vines over the finish line, and fruit that combined higher than typical acid levels with ripeness, leaving little room for green character.
Our 2020 Dry Rosé is composed of100% Pinot Noir. The fruits for this vintage were picked early and cold soaked for two days to extract color and flavor.
Our 2018 Cabernet Franc has more of a European style, emphasizing the delicate notes of the vintage. Full of earth and leather, this savory wine has a nose of raspberries and cherries, while the body is lighter and carried more by acid than tannins.
Treleaven's first stainless-steel fermented and aged Cabernet Franc is meant to be light, fruity, and day-to-day enjoyable. A crimson hue in the glass with a nose filled with dark wild fruits, blackberries, black cherries and black currant. The palate is bright and fresh with light delicate tannins making this wine easy to drink. In the summer put a chill on it or on cooler nights serve as your normally would.
The 2018 Pinot Noir has a nose of lifted fruits, red currants, cranberries, and a dash of oregano. Medium-bodied, with the summery tang of fresh strawberries before an easy going finish.
